I was born and raised in Morristown. Early in life, my parents, both  honest and spiritual people, in grained in me the principles for which I run my business: hard working discipline and faith, in God as well as in myself. My father passed on some years ago, but my mother, Louise, is still alive and I am still making her proud.

 

Throughout my formative years I worked labor jobs, where I learned the skills that would later become my main hobbies: mechanical leanings that have not only secured my love of motorcycles and vintage vehicles, but also the knowledge of how they work, inside and out. It is this skill and intricate know-how that I apply not only to those vintage bikes, but also to everyday life and the profession of real estate auctioneer.

 

In 1972, I graduated from East Tennessee State University with degrees in management, finance, and real estate. I also studied appraising offered by the Institute of Real Estate Appraisal, along with numerous auctioneering courses, and I am presently pursuing  the CCIM designation for commercial properties. Throughout my thirty-three years of experience I’ve handled some of the biggest auctions in and around Morristown, and was honored to be President of the Morristown Board of Realtors. During this time I also taught real estate courses at Walters State Community College.

 

The ideals and principles that my parents instilled in me when I was a boy are still what guide me today: faith, honesty, and hard-work. I appreciate the chance to work-hard for you, and you have my word that I will.

 

I will devote all my attention to each and every auction to insure the best possible outcome to all parties concerned.
